Position Overview

Cleveland Building Restoration, LLC is a Union, commercial, masonry restoration contractor in Northeast Ohio. CBR is an equal opportunity employer. Our interest is in hiring a Project Manager.

CBR performs masonry restoration work directly for many large owners such as: John Carroll, University Hospitals, Metro Hospitals, University Schools, The City of Cleveland, The State of Ohio, Case Western University, etc. CBR also handles a vast type of private commercial clients. CBR works closely with the major general contractors and with many architectural firms to develop masonry specifications tailored to a specific building project.

CBR provides the highest quality masonry restoration techniques, such as tuckpointing, Jahn Mortar patching, façade inspections, brick repair and matching, terra cotta repair, pre-cast repair, lintel repair, thru-wall flashing, caulking, wet seals, waterproofing, epoxy repairs and parking deck repairs.

Job Qualifications

  • A solid understanding of general commercial construction and its terminology, including the ability to read and understand blueprints
  • An understanding of technology to assist in improving the systems and procedures already in place with a competency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts and conversions
  • Ability to work with statistical data and apply concepts
  • Ability to work with and convert units of production and convert to those units to dollars
  • Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities concurrently
  • Ability to work with practical problems and deal with a variety of variables
  • Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral diagram or schedule form
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related specialty
  • Familiarity with safety procedures in construction, an OSHA 30 card is advantageous
  • Ability to understand and follow directions given
  • Ability to identify critical issues and recommend appropriate solutions in a timely manner
  • Good communication skills and possesses a friendly and honest demeanor
  • Self-motivated, willing to work hard and develop competency in this business
  • Must pass a DMV review and drug screening, which will be done ongoing and periodically per our safety standards and drug-free workplace

General Duties

General duties may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Work with the sales team, project managers, warehouse team, safety team, field teams and job supervisor to successfully and safely complete jobs.
  • Create bidding/project estimates, obtaining proper permits, respond to RFQ’s, respond to and generate leads, interpret blueprints and other required documents, complete required paperwork, monitor job progress, site visits, respond to client requests, coordinate billings, remain current on required certifications, coordinate job specific materials, recording various paperwork, and other job-related duties directed by supervisor
